Chicago-style deep dish pizza is what I like. Giordano's delivers the goods. Got their $10 lunch (small dd za, salad, drink). Awesome pizza and a great price. Grabbed lunch there twice while I worked in the area (March 2015) The place was mostly empty during the weekday lunch hour. If you don't like crowds, that's the time to go. Clean, prompt service, and very Chicago-y feeling. Of course, the deep dish pizza takes 30-45 min depending on the size. But it's so worth the wait! I can't eat an entire small pizza myself. I eat the good stuff, then take the crusts home - they make a great snack later on!

This place is a joke! Came in and was seated right away, looking forward to some Chicago style pizza. Sat for 20 minutes without so much as a greeting. Its as if no one noticed we were there. Saw a few servers bringing bills to tables around us, everyone seated near us looked upset and impatient. Our menus were closed and we were ready to order but we seriously just sat there. Walked out without any staff noticing (I have never had to walk out of a restaurant before, ever!). Avoid at all costs, even if the food is amazing you won't get even remotely good service.

well, a lot of these reviews are negative abt the servers and this one is no exception. Amd thats too bad cuz my food was good, but quality of service took away from the experience. The waitress was always in a hurry, and stopped at my table on her way to another table with more people. she dropped off my order im an express fashion. the house salad was very fresh and good. Lemon vinaigrette was excellent, my food came in a reasonable timeframe, When i asked abt desserts, then the server recommended Dunkin Donuts instead, they had only two desserts which, in the server's opinion, were overpriced or not good quality for the money. They had No cannoli on menu. Server was efficient but too much like a gal from Ed Debevic's, being purposely loud or brusquely casual. Could barely wait to leave. The food however was good, Many people had ordered deep dish pizza, so it must be popular.

Thanks to the management for making things right. We ordered a special, but came home with a cheese only pizza. Giordano's didn't question it and delivered the correct one in 45 minutes. Excellent customer service. You you a loyal customer for life.

Best pizza ever.. The staff is not very friendly but what counts is the pizza... The pizza is the best.

With the variety of (great) pizza options in the LZ area, I decided to give Giordano's a shot - and I can say I will NEVER be back. This place fails in ALL 3 phases: awful service, way below average food, and higher prices than any pizza operation in the NW suburbs. The woman who took my carry out order at the front counter was oblivious to anything related to food service, follow-up was only when I went to her, a mistimed completion of the order - all combined with a whopping bill for over 50 bucks. I think the most disappointing part of the experience was the sass that was laid on me as I walked out by the same counter "help" which "greeted" me. Awful. Take my, and the other reviewers advice - try any other pizza joint in LZ and you will happy for not going here.

Stopped in on a last minute. Server was super nice. Service was fast. Thin crust pizza was delicious. What more can you ask for at a pizza joint?

I usually love the pizza but I had never been to this location and let me just say that I won't be back. I took my younger cousins here thinking that pizza would be a nice and fun way to end our shopping trip. I got a thin crust for the youngest and there was a monstrous amount of cheese and hardly and sauce. Our deep dish in the other hand was fine until you got to the crust which was not stuffed and was also hard as a rock. I couldn't even cut it with a knife and chewing it seemed borderline hazardous. It was a really disappointing visit and we all left hungry. The only good part of the meal was the fried mozzarella appetizers and that our waitress was quick about refills for our drinks.

Waited forever for our food, though it didn't seem very busy. Saw two other tables complain about lack of service and walk out without paying. When food finally arrived, two of our pizzas had the wrong ingredients. Our server was polite and apologetic, and said she'd take some $ off the bill, but then didn't. This place clearly needs new management given what we saw today and the other reviews here.

Worst service I had ever experience.... Our waitress and I guess she's a hostess also was such a b**ch!! It seems like she had a problem with everything since we walked in through the doors! She didn't like we changed the table, our order, whatever I asked her to bring she would just slam it on the table with out a word! I made a joke/comment about my husbands drink order and she gave me such a mean look.... loosen up lady!!! Simply unacceptable!!! Now thinking about it I can't believe we left her a tip! As for the pizza... It was Ok. We brought leftovers home but my husband said every-time he looks at this pizza he looses his appetite because it reminds him of her! Will never ever eat there again!!!

Wilted lettuce, tasteless crust, and no management. I'm going back to Lou Malnatti. Don't bother with this overpriced stuffed pizza

Picked up a large deep dish pepperoni and sausage and a thin crust veggie, along with parmesan garlic fries. Bland, bland, bland. No flavor to the sauce at all - plenty of veggies, though. Had to pull out the jar of marinara to add some flavor. Deep dish was only slightly better. Fries were ice cold, so had to heat them in the microwave. Not a regular..won't be either.

I am a regular at this restaurant I don't see where all these negative reviews are coming from. I come every Friday and I'm a very picky eater so my pizza order is always very complicated but my server always does a great job pizza is great the only complaint I have is that the pizza take so long lol the pizza is a little on the pricey side but it is worth it best Chicago pizza around.

Awful. Went from average to terrible with new location. Wait staff seemed ill prepared to help customers. Sausage stuffed pizza had almost no sausage in it. Atmosphere is fine but no better than any other local, appreciative pizza restaurant. With so many other choices, this restaurant doesn't deserve to be one.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
